“Phoenix Rising I, II, III”

This is a series of three paintings within our Mystical Southwest exhibit.  Almost like a conclusion of all we have conveyed throughout this exhibit.  The Phoenix is a long living bird representing a cyclical regeneration.  Also associated with the sun as it obtains new life by rising from the ashes of its predecessor.   We decided to monochrome these paintings to embody the end of our series. A representation of the unknown. But, also use the Phoenix to present a question of new beginnings or a rebirth of the unknown. These paintings have a reminiscent vibe encompassing many symbolic meanings of our being, essence, energy, life, and even more powerful the unknown.  It makes you think of what may be, who may be, and how it may be.  What is the true purpose of our planet and all the embodiment that integrates it?  Is it simply a cycle or is cyclical regeneration?
